The methodology behind Elon News Network's Best of 2017 Edition was simple — you tell us what you love about Elon and the surrounding community, and we'll find out what makes it so great.
Since August, we had almost weekly meetings deciding how to build the questionnaire for people to fill out. In October, we released the survey asking what was best around here, ranging from the best restaurant, to the best professor, to the best place to park. We received over 500 responses, ranging from students, to faculty, to general community members. And when you gave us your answers, we went to work to ask the right people about why their thing won. Some of the results were expected. Some of them were surprising. But like them or hate them, these are the best things about Elon — as voted by you.
